"Las Aventuras del Barón Münchhausen"



Las Aventuras del Barón Münchhausen (ПРИКЛЮЧЕНИЯ МЮНХАУЗЕНА ) consta de una serie de 4 capítulos:

«MUNCHAUSEN'S ADVENTURES. BETWEEN THE CROCODILE AND THE LION» (1973)
«MUNCHAUSEN'S ADVENTURES. GOOD SHOT» (1973)
«MUNCHAUSEN'S ADVENTURES. THE PEACOCK» (1974)
«MUNCHAUSEN'S ADVENTURES. A WONDERFUL ISLAND» (1974)

De todas ellas la que más recuerdo es la tercera, aunque sólo imágenes sueltas carentes de sentido: el Barón volando en la alfombra mágica, convertido en serpiente, el pavo real , etc. A pesar de las grandes lagunas en mi memoria recuerdo que disfrutaba mucho con este muñe, tal vez porque este tipo de historias carentes de sentido pertenecen más al mundo inconsciente de los niños .

Nuevamente pido colaboración de todos aquellos que recuerden la historia

Karl Friedrich Hieronymus, Freiherr von Münchhausen (1720 - 1797) era un barón alemán que desde su cuna aristocrática hizo carrera militar como oficial de caballería en el ejército ruso. Combatió contra los turcos y a su vuelta a casa alcanzó la fama por sus historias de aventuras impregnadas de una gran fantasía. Tras fallecer, Rudolf Erich Raspe recopiló sus fábulas en la obra "Las aventuras del Barón de Münchhausen" en 1785. Gottfried August Bürger escribió otra célebre versión en 1786 en la que narra la historia a medio camino entre lo grotesco y lo fantástico con un esperpéntico protagonista que provoca una y otra vez las risas del lector, algo que está muy bien reflejado en esta versión en dibujos animados.

Entre las historias que vive el Barón están un viaje a la Luna en busca de un hacha de plata perdida, un atravesía por los mares donde se lo traga un enorme pez, etc

También se han realizado algunas versiones cinematográficas, entre ellas la dirigida en 1988 por Terry Gilliam, excelente director (Doce Monos, El Rey Pescador, Brazil) que a pesar de haber dirigido la mayor y más cara producción del cine europeo hasta la fecha de su estreno, resultó ser un producto de consumo de “verano” que no será recordada más que por la compañía aseguradora que tuvo que asumir el coste total de la producción que doblaba el presupuesto inicial de la misma ( 23 millones de dólares)

Como curiosidad señalar que existe en Psicología lo que se denomina “El síndrome de Münchhausen”. Este término acuñado por Asher (1951) quien tomó el nombre del estrambótico Barón, se caracteriza por mentiras patológicas y una conducta errante, de hospital en hospital, fingiendo una enfermedad física inexistente.

  • no lo conocina este, o al menos no lo recuerdo, si bien las imagenes me resultan levemente familiares...

    ahora en el espectaculo de Virulo Sexo , Luego existo, hay un momento en que Constantin llega a un apacible pueblito austriaco donde vivian la bruja y el psicologo que trataban de ganarse la vida... bueno esta simpatica pareja vivia al lado del baron de munchhausen y de su agraciada hija, y cuando constantin la vio... quedo prendado de ella. El gato con botas propicio el encuentro, con el cuento de marquez de calasanz, que nunca falla, y el idilio no se hizo esperar...

  • Uno de la serie era una caceria pero no recuerdo detalles. Este de que pones las imagenes, recuerdo que el varon le hace la vida imposible al genio de la lampara hasta que sale el pavo real al final y cuando abre el pico y canta es tan horrible que el baron creo se desmalla...

    Habia una pelicula con los mismos muñequitos que el se va encontrando gente por el camino, uno que camina rapido (las siete leguas?), otro que tenia tremenda guataca (oido), etc. etc. y que al final lo ayudan en algo que no recuerdo bien... (please, alguien con mas memoria...)

  • Gracias Omar por el video de la Grulla y el Grullito, ha sido un regalo verlo de nuevo. Recordé un dibujo animado que no es ruso, creo que fue uno de los primeros anime que pusieron en Cuba, Prince of the Sun: Horus, en realidad lo titularon El pequeño príncipe del sol, y fue uno de los primeros proyectos de animación del grupo Toei Animation Studio, dirigido por Isao Takahata. Aquí trabajaba por ese entonces el joven desconocido Hayao Miyazaki (ahora considerado un verdadero maestro de la animación japonesa y premiado incluso con un Oscar, estos son los animes suyos que más me han gustado: Nausicaa of the Valley of the Wind, Princess Mononoke, Spirited Away y recientemente Howl's Moving Castle). Del anime en cuestión recuerdo a Hilda, una heroína que por momentos me desesperaba porque tenía tratos con el mounstruo de la película (ese personaje me atormentó mucho tiempo en mis pesadillas de infancia), hasta el extremo que cada vez que salía me tapaba los ojos para no verlo, y su risa era estridente, me asustaba mucho.
    El pequeño príncipe del sol yo creo que fue el primer largometraje que vi cuando niña, quizás por eso me impactó tanto y lo conservo entre los tesoros de mi infancia. Les paso unos links de este muñequito que encontré en internet por si quieren recordarlo,
